Overview
Detailed Property Search
Save
time researching properties by using the Detailed Property
Search,
a flexible tool for querying and reporting property information
in Lane County. RLID combines information maintained by multiple
government agencies in a number of systems and databases and
provides a "one-stop shop".
Flexible queries allow users to locate properties based on
complete or partial site address, map and tax lot numbers,
or owner information, as well as assessor tax account numbers.
After the user locates a property or properties of interest,
detailed information can be reported in user-customized reports.
In
addition to the property information that is pulled from RLID's
regional data warehouse, a number of associated image-based
information sources are accessed to provide convenient links
to digital maps and documents. A single query using the
Detailed Property Search can provide direct access to assessor
tax maps, plats, petitions, liens, flood maps, demographic profiles,
property flags, and other documents.
A free downloadable image-viewing plug-in allows the user
to view these online images in seconds.
Lane Maps
The
Lane Maps application allows a user to extend the power of
RLID's Detailed Property Search. Lane Map's interactive mapping
and spatial query
capabilities allow the user to explore Lane County from a
map view with the ability to display a variety of map layers
and aerial imagery from the Lane County regional geographic
information system (GIS). With the click of a mouse users
can retrieve the same Detailed Property Reports and images
that are found through the Detailed Property Search. With
Lane Maps, the user simply clicks on a tax lot or aerial photograph
to select the property of interest.
The user can zoom to an area of interest and display detailed
map layers such as wetlands, soils, zoning, political districts,
or USGS topographical maps. By hovering the cursor over areas of
the map, information about that property is displayed. Lane
Maps is ideal for exploring the geography of Lane County or
the streets of a city or neighborhood. Users can compose and
print custom maps from Lane Maps.
In
addition to providing a tool for exploration and queries,
Lane Maps provides a growing number of analytical and practical
functions to assist government and commercial applications.
Users can generate a buffer of a specified distance around
a property of interest to identify information about surrounding
features. For example, a 300-foot buffer can be used to select
properties within the radius of a subject property and identify
the associated site and owner addresses. These addresses can
be exported from Lane Maps for use in a standard mailing mail
merge file.
Deeds
and Records Index
Search
the Recorders Office Deeds and Records Index to locate recorded
documents. Searches may be completed using grantor name, grantee
name, document number, document type, or map and tax lot number.
Indexed information on the selected records can be reported
and corresponding recorded document images can be viewed online.
Deeds
and Records
are cross referenced with RLID, allowing the user to quickly
link from one document to other related documents without
performing additional searches. For example, when a particular
Deed of Trust has been located, previously recorded documents
that reference that Deed or later recorded documents, such
as an assignment, are displayed for further query.
The scanned document images are viewed with the same downloadable image viewing
browser plug-in used for map and other document images in
RLID. Download Image Viewing Software
Taxes
Balance Due
Users
can determine current property tax balances and calculate
outstanding
balance due amounts, including principal and interest, by
tax year. The Taxes Balance Due application provides a real-time
connection to the Lane County Assessor's taxation system for
the purpose of calculating taxes owed or outstanding tax balances
on user-specified properties. The application provides the
capability for users to search and view previously generated
tax reports as well as receive printable reports via e-mail.
Springfield
Lien Docket
The
Springfield Lien
Docket Application provides
a real-time connection to the City of Springfield's lien docket
system. Users can calculate outstanding liens on specified
properties within the city and generate a report that contains
lien docket summary information. This report includes the
assessment payoff amount, principal and interest as of a user-specified
date, and payment installments and status.
Eugene
Lien Docket
The
Eugene
Lien Docket Application provides a real-time connection to
the City of Eugene's lien docket system for the purpose of
calculating outstanding liens on specified properties within
the city. The application generates a report containing lien
docket summary information, including the assessment payoff
amount and date, principal and interest as of a user-specified
date, and other relevant lien information.
Eugene
Building Permit and Land Use Permit Records Searches
Through
the City of Eugene Planning and Development Department's (PDD)
Building Permit and Land Use Permit Records Searches, users can research permit
information. Included are the issued permit type and status, inspection
history, plan review summary, fee summary, contractor, and
other associated information for city properties based on
entry of contractor name, log number, site address, or map
and tax lot number.
Eugene
Zoning History (CELAND)
The
Eugene Zoning History Application provides a simple look-up
utility for records of city zoning changes based on information
from the former CELAND mainframe application. The CELAND system
was not Y2K compliant and was replaced by a new system called
ONTRACK. Eugene zoning changes subsequent to 1999 are not
currently accessible from this application, which is provided
for historical research purposes only.
Map
and Tax Lot History (ATMAP)
The
Map and Tax Lot History application provides a simple look-up
utility
for records of renumbered Assessor Tax Maps based on information
from the former *ATMAP mainframe application. The *ATMAP system
was not Y2K compliant and is no longer being updated as of
December 31, 1999.
Lane Information Query (Lane Query)
Lane Query rounds out the comprehensive property query capabilities
of RLID. Through this easy-to-use powerful and flexible tool,
a user can compose simple or complex queries of the RLID data
warehouse. The user can find and report on multiple properties
with common attributes such as comparable properties or properties
with common development opportunities and constraints. Similarly,
mailing lists can be generated for properties sharing common
geography (e.g. neighborhood groups) or characteristics. Query
results can be reported with report customization options
that allow selective information display, sorting, breaks,
and subtotals. Query results can also be exported to a variety
of standard formats for further analysis or processing in
external applications such as Excel, Word, or other programs.
